Today, let’s pause to honor and cherish the remarkable moms who love us so well.

When we think about the biblical examples of motherhood, one stands out above the others: Mary, the mother of Jesus. Mary’s faith, courage, and devotion have served as inspiration for mothers across generations.

From the moment the angel Gabriel delivered the astonishing news of her divine calling to give birth to the Savior, Mary’s response was one of humble surrender and trust: “I am the Lord’s servant. May everything you have said about me come true” (Luke 1:38 NLT). In this simple yet profound declaration, Mary exemplifies a spirit of obedience and faithfulness that mothers today can emulate.

Throughout Jesus’ life, Mary remained a steadfast presence, offering love, guidance, and support. From the humble stable in Bethlehem to the foot of the cross on Calvary, it seems Mary’s devotion never wavered. In moments of joy and sorrow alike, her love remained constant.
