“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 28:19 We believe that Christian baptism is a public declaration of the believer’s salvation in Christ, identifying with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection symbolized by immersion in water. Baptism signifies the believer’s death to the old life and his or her resurrection as a new creation in Christ.
