Located in Lahaina on the beautiful island of Maui, Harvest Kumulani serves both the local community and the many tourists who are looking for a church home away from home. Kumulani Chapel merged into the Harvest family in 2016 and features authentic Hawaiian hospitality, biblical teaching, warm fellowship, and engaging worship with island flair.

      I grew up in Chile with a strong Swiss heritage. After finishing high school, I moved to Switzerland to join the Swiss Windsurfing Olympic Team. Later I became a professional Windsurfer which landed me on Maui in 1994.

      Although my life seemed pretty fun, I was lost and I was searching to fill that empty
      hole in my heart. I met a girl at the beach. She took me to a church by the sea where I truly met Jesus and His love!

      20 months later I married that all American girl and we have been blessed with 3 kids.

      God, through my multicultural upbringing, and world travels gave me a heart for the poor and Missions. Since 1998, Kellie and I have enjoyed serving on many missions trips and leading teams for Harvest Kumulani since 2014.

      I officially became a full time staff member at Harvest KUMULANI on April 1, 2021. As an Assistant Pastor I wear many hats, but at the core I simply love to serve.

      Lance grew up in Southern California and was part of the Jesus Movement. He moved to Maui in 1996 and has been involved in Kumulani Chapel beginning in 1999. He met his wife Catherine at a Bible study he was leading in his home in 1992. They have two children, Jan (married to Emily) and Rebekah (married to Rob Ojeda) and two grandchildren. Lance has a heart for discipleship, teaching the Bible, and worldwide missions.
